Being successful in the world of voice over requires raw talent as well as a wealth of technical skills. If you’re not sure about what gear you’ll need to record at home, and how to get started with recording software, this course is for you. We teach the course using a digital audio workstation called REAPER. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops and follow along as we demonstrate and explain how to record, edit, process, and export professional audio files.

• Using markers to organize your project
• Creating composite takes
• Punch ‘n Roll recording techniques
• Removing noise & adding silence
• File formats and delivery methods
• Splicing and crossfading
